Tissot launches Two New PRS 200 variants
Sporty and trendy at an unbeatable price and quality

New Delhi, Delhi, India

Tissot, the 149-year-old Swiss watchmaker, today announced the launch of two new versions of its popular PRS 200 in India. Following the success the PRS 200 has had in the market, Tissot has introduced the PRS 200 bicolour and the PRS 200 yellow.

The two variants not only speak for themselves but also for the person who wears them. The two variants unique in their look, PRS 200 bicolour model, 10-micron gold plated with distinctive silver and black index, and the PRS 200 yellow model, PVD coated with a blue index, will be perfect companions for a man of all occasions. The chronograph features of the watch include the add and split functions of 30 minute and 1/10 of a second counter as well as a central 60-second chronograph hand. Doted with an anti- clockwise rotating bezel, the watch has an 'up-to-the-minute' look. The Swiss made quartz movement, with a price tag starting from Rs 18,000 has the characteristic scratch resistant sapphire crystal and is water resistant up to 200m.

"For most men, their watch is a reflection of their attitude. Tissot's latest offering is designed for those men who lead an active outdoor life yet need to make a formal statement" said Ulrich Fischer, Vice President - Sales, Tissot.

The Tissot PRS 200, which was introduced in India in September 2000, is a sporty and stylish timepiece and is available at an unbeatable price and quality at select watch retail outlets across the country.

Throughout its history TISSOT has created products that never fail to attract attention, both in watch making circles and among its consumers. Whether in the technology of its movements, in the research for special materials or in the very functions of the watch itself, its engineers and watchmakers develop models that were, and continue to be, pioneers of their kind. Be it the first anti-magnetic watch, the first two timer, the first rock watch or the first wood watch.

Tissot entered the Indian market in September 1999 and has since then developed a distribution network of 80 outlets spread all over the country. Tissot's product offerings in the domestic market are in the sport, chic and regional categories. The models available in the sports segment are PR 50, PR 100, PR 200, PRS 200 and Atollo; in the chic segment Ballade, T-collection, Bellflower, TXL, Gold & Pockets; and in the regional lines Seastar quartz and automatic.

Tissot is a member of the Swatch Group, the world's largest watch producer and distributor, with 157 production sites in Switzerland. The Swatch Group is the official timekeeper and data-handling operator for the Olympic Games in Athens, Turin, Beijing and other cities.
