Telenity's New President Leads Major Forces of Change in Programmable Networks
Conn, Monroe, United States

Telenity (www.telenity.com) today announced that Dilip Singh has joined the company as its President. Singh brings more than 30 years of telecom software industry experience to Telenity and will lead the company to international expansion and profitability. He will report directly to Bekir Serbet, Telenity's CEO.

Telenity has quickly grown to be among the leading global providers of value added service delivery platforms that enable the programmability of mobile and next generation networks. Telenity's products include the Canvas(R) SDP service delivery platform, the Canvas iCON(TM) intelligent content management platform, multimedia messaging solutions, location enabling applications and a variety of revenue generating services software. Telenity's products and solutions currently serve over 50 million subscribers worldwide.

"Dilip's wealth of technology, business and investment expertise is absolutely essential to Telenity's continuing success as the programmable wireless network fundamentally changes the entire communications marketplace. The programmable network is the key business driver for carriers as they seek to satisfy shareholder demand for greater return on investment and subscribers demand for personalized, bundled and flexible services," said Serbet. "Our value added proposition to our customers is to deliver off-the-shelf integrated components to enable content, application and infrastructure technologies such as messaging or location to come together to increase ARPU while driving the OPEX down."

"Next generation services will create both opportunity and challenges for carriers as their service model evolves from carrier managed to partnerships, and from carrier provisioned packaged services to subscriber provisioned personalized services," said Singh. "I am excited to join Telenity at this juncture. With our vast technical resources, commercial product portfolio, and partnerships Telenity is in the best position to help carriers transition to the new service model," said Singh.

A market and customer focused business executive, Singh's vast software and technical expertise, his familiarity with major global telecom carriers, equipment vendors and System Integration Partners, combined with his venture capital and entrepreneurial experience at start-ups and early stage companies will benefit Telenity, and its executive management team.

Prior to his most recent position as President of ADC's Software Systems Division, Singh was an Entrepreneur in Residence at MC Venture Partners responsible for developing investment thesis and then concentrating efforts in pursuing investments in information technology and telecom market segments. Previously, Singh served as President of NewNet, a telecom infrastructure software startup, which was acquired by ADC in 1997. Prior to NewNet, he served at Sprint Corporation as Executive Director of Intelligent Network Services and OSS Planning and Development. Before that Singh served as Co-founder/Joint Managing Director of United Database Corporation, a ground-zero start up which introduced Yellow Pages in India. Prior to United Database, Singh was an independent telecom consultant for Alcatel in England, Germany and Italy. Singh holds a Masters of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology and a Masters of Science from the University of Jodhpur.
