Jyoti Ltd. Partners with Vector Consulting Group to Revamp its Supply Chain
Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Vector Consulting Group, one of the leading consulting firms specializing in Theory of Constraints (TOC) in India, has entered into a multi-year engagement with Jyoti Limited. Vector Consulting Group will be the implementation partner for transforming the supply chain of Jyoti Ltd. using the TOC principles.

Speaking about this initiative, Satyashri Mohanty, Founding Director, Vector Consulting Group said, "Equipment manufacturing is one of most complex operations environment due to need to synchronize multiple parts procured to an order from multiple vendors for integration in assembly. The solution aims at increasing flow rate by synchronizing the parts for assembly. This should help in reducing lead time while improving the output of the plant."

"The typical equipment manufacturing operations practices of the industry are based on principles of early start which leads to very high work in progress, huge receivables and inventory, said A. Gopalkrishnan, Chief Operating Officer, Jyoti Ltd. Using the TOC principles we aim to improve the internal flow rate as well as rate of project closure significantly. We aim to reduce plant inventories and receivables stuck in retention while significantly growing revenues and profits."

Through Theory of Constraints, Jyoti Ltd. intends to redefine paradigms of managing the multi-project environment.
