Rise in Aditya Birla Group's Cement Despatches

The Aditya Birla Group's cement despatches of March 2002, rose by 10.91 percent to 10.50 lacs MT, compared to 9.47 lacs MT in March 2001. March 2002 production also rose by 9.93 percent to 10.23 lacs MT compared to 9.3 lacs MT in March 2001.

For April'01 - March'02 period the dispatches rose to 102.94 lacs MT compared to 99.82 lacs MT in the previous year. Producion for the same period also rose to 102.97 lacs MT compared to 99.69 lacs MT in the previous year.
