Increasing Scope for MBA in Marketing Jobs in India for 2014

Career scope

According to QStopMBA.com, there is a growth of 13% in the FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) sector in 2014. They also project a 38% growth in MBA jobs in Asia in 2014.

  • New Delhi - Rs 6 lakhs+
  • Bangalore - Rs 7 lakhs+
  • Mumbai - Rs 7 lakhs+
  • Pune - Rs 5.5 lakhs+

All kinds of products, services, ideas, people, brands need to market themselves effectively to stay in business. This whole process requires a whole lot of people who can market and sell and influence a person's decision by converting him into a customer.

In today's era, and in the days to come, a specialization in marketing opens doors to virtually every type of industry. Marketing jobs are in demand in all the sectors such as automobile, information technology, FMCG, education, advertising, consulting, entertainment , manufacturing, financial services, social media, tourism etc.

Specialization in marketing management works as a launch pad for freshers. There are various companies looking for talent to market and sell their product and what better place than a B-school to look for them. Many reputed companies visit these schools to offer jobs to qualified and trained students. 

Job profiles

MBA in marketing offers a lot of job profiles to choose from. Graduates can consider job profiles as marketing executive, market research analyst ,brand manager, relationship manager, product manager, client servicing, business development manager, etc. which can, with experience grow into more responsible roles within an organizations.

So as we see, a degree in MBA is a beginning to many possibilities and a specialization in marketing differentiates you from a good marketer, thereby helping you become a great marketer.
