Cricket Lovers are in for a Treat as GamesBond Launches Sprint Cricket: India V/s Australia!

Build a team with your favourite players and create strategies to win matches

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Tired of playing the usual and boring cricket games? GamesBond; a leading Indian publisher of premium and casual mobile games just launched “Sprint Cricket” – a unique cricket arcade game that is sure to engage the cricket fans as the 2017 cricketing season kicks off. The first version of this free-to-play game will let users experience the cricketing excitement on their mobile phones as India take on Australia on the cricket field. Sprint Cricket has been developed in partnership with SuperSike Games, a Delhi-based game development studio that won the Gamesbond pitch at Nasscom Game Developer Conference, 2015. SuperSike Games has created top-rated games like One More Pass and One More Run which have been received very well by consumers globally.

Sprint Cricket is nothing like the average mobile cricket games which emphasise on just batting or bowling, but instead all your focus is on running between wickets. Players can feel the thrill and the adrenaline rush as they try to scamper through for that all critical single or try to convert the 1s into 2s to win the match. The game captures the breakneck pace of a cricket match as it always puts you in the last overs of the match. Sprint Cricket, as the name suggests, is quick and can be played anytime, anywhere and takes the player straight to the virtual cricket pitch as soon they start the game. Players get to choose their own teams from a line-up of well-known cricketing names and build a game strategy to win the game. Sprint Cricket boasts of excellent hand-drawn geometric graphics that promise a superlative gaming experience to players.

Speaking on the launch of the game, Anshul Singhal, Vice President – Products, GamesBond said, “India is a nation of cricket lovers and the sport is by far the single – most preferred pastime of Indians, and it cuts across the generation and gender divides. “Sprint Cricket” tries to harness the passion for the game and the consistently high pace of the game ensures that the gamers are always engaged. We are sure that the unique gameplay of Sprint Cricket will make it quite popular with the global cricket loving audiences as well. In a short amount of time, SuperSike Games has carved a niche for itself in the mobile gaming domain and we are excited to collaborate with them to develop Sprint Cricket. They have created some brilliant games and their retro arcade-style graphic design in Sprint Cricket will act as a unique visual differentiator compared to the usual 3D mobile games out there.”

Amit Goyal, CEO & Co-Founder, SuperSike Games said, "We are excited to launch the Sprint Cricket game along with the GamesBond team and feel this game will really appeal to a large number of cricket lovers globally. The partnership with GamesBond has been a mutually rewarding one in the past and we are sure that this collaboration will yield great results for SuperSike Games and GamesBond going ahead."

The game has been launched on Android platform on 3rd March, 2017. GamesBond – also offers highly curated premium mobile games across categories such as racing, action 3D, puzzle, adventure, strategy, arcade, sports and shooting on its own platform http://www.gamesbond.com
